Sales & Estimating Specialist Energy Center-Manhattan Pool | Manhattan, KS Full-Time | In-Person | $24-$27 per hour, depending on experience About the Role Energy Center-Manhattan Pool has served Manhattan and the surrounding communities for more than 20 years. We help homeowners create comfortable, enjoyable spaces with swimming pools, spas, fireplaces and stoves, grills and smokers, and outdoor living products. We are looking for a Sales & Estimating Specialist to help customers turn their ideas into well-planned projects. This role combines customer relationship management, sales, estimating, follow-up, and project coordination.
Our approach is simple:
understand the customer, provide the right solution, prepare an accurate estimate, and follow through. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships and understands that strong sales come from excellent service and consistent follow-up. What You'll Do Meet with customers to understand their needs, project goals, preferences, and budget. Build strong customer relationships through professional and responsive communication. Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and pricing for customer projects. Explain product options, pricing, project considerations, and next steps. Follow up with leads and customers by phone, email, and other appropriate channels. Conduct outbound calls and work with company-provided leads to develop sales opportunities. Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in the CRM. Manage your sales pipeline and complete follow-ups, estimates, and customer commitments on time. Work with the team to ensure a smooth transition from the sale to project execution. Develop knowledge of our products, installation processes, and home-improvement services. What We're Looking For Customer service, sales, estimating, quoting, or related experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent listening and relationship-building skills. Strong organization and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple customers and opportunities while staying on top of follow-up. Comfortable learning products, pricing, and project requirements. Ability to use a CRM to document customer interactions and manage opportunities. Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team. Experience in construction, remodeling, home improvement, building materials, landscaping, outdoor living, pools, spas, kitchens and baths, or another project-based industry is a plus. Construction or home-improvement estimating experience is especially valuable, but training is provided for the right candidate.
