Job Description

Help Ensure Products Are Built Right At Maveric Automation, we build products that our customers depend on. When a product leaves our facility, it needs to work as expected, meet requirements, and hold up under scrutiny. Quality isn't a department that checks boxes at the end of the process—it's part of everything we do. We're looking for someone to join our quality team. You don't need a quality control background or manufacturing experience. We'll teach you the technical skills, inspection methods, testing procedures, and systems we use. What we're really looking for are the traits that make someone successful in quality: curiosity, attention to detail, honesty, and the ability to recognize when something doesn't look right. This is an opportunity to develop skills that apply across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and supply chain while working closely with every part of the business. What You'll Be Doing Measure and inspect mechanical parts Perform electrical and functional testing Support quality activities across machining, electronics, and assembly Work with suppliers and incoming materials to verify products meet requirements Help identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues Maintain records and documentation that can withstand serious scrutiny Learn how supplier quality, incoming inspection, production, and final verification all work together What We Actually Care About You're curious and ask questions until you understand You don't guess; if you don't know, you say so You notice things other people walk past You can accurately assess what you do and don't understand You're willing to learn and don't pretend to know something you don't You care about why things are done, not just how You have the discipline to follow a process even when nobody is watching No Experience Required You'll notice there's no requirement for manufacturing or quality control experience. We've hired successful people from outside these fields before, and in many cases they've exceeded expectations. If you're early in your career or coming from another industry, that's perfectly fine. We can teach inspection techniques, testing methods, documentation requirements, and quality systems. We can't teach curiosity. We can't teach integrity. We can't teach someone to care whether something is right. What This Job Is (And Isn't) This isn't a corporate campus, a giant warehouse, or a place with layers of management between you and the work. We're a small and growing team. The people here are trusted to think, solve problems, ask questions, and contribute. You'll work directly with the people building products, purchasing materials, solving production challenges, and supporting customers. That means you'll gain visibility into the entire business instead of spending years performing one narrow task. Our environment is hands-on, collaborative, and fast-moving. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys learning, taking ownership, and seeing the direct impact of their work. If you're looking for a role where quality matters, where you'll learn something new every week, and where your contribution is visible, we'd love to hear from you.
