Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with industry standards will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our production processes. The starting wage is negotiable and will be determined based on your skills and experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing operations in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify compliance with quality standards. Perform dimensional measurements and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) analysis to ensure parts meet design specifications. Execute quality audits. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all tools are within calibration standards for accurate inspections. Document inspection results accurately, analyze data trends, and report discrepancies or non-conformances promptly. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes of quality issues and collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with measurement instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision systems, and precision measuring tools. Knowledge of mechanical blueprint interpretation and dimensional measurement techniques including GD&T principles. Ability to perform quality audits, analyze data effectively, and maintain detailed documentation. Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills to interpret technical drawings and measurement data accurately.
