Job Description

CMM programmers program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform inspections on machined aerospace parts. This role is required to document specific information regarding approvals and non-conforming parts and may be involved in problem-solving to identify rework requirements. The CMM team also participates in the development and maintenance of our quality system and associated policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure that Company, regulatory, customer, and industry requirements are fulfilled. Personnel may also provide quality and/or manufacturing process training for manufacturing personnel. To accomplish this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential function. Programs and operates a CMM(s); revises programs to maximize effectiveness and efficiency Investigates and collaborates with cross-functional team members to resolve manufacturing-related non-conformances or other concerns Initiates nonconformance records and disposition of parts not meeting requirements Completes First Article Inspections to AS9102 and company/contractual requirements Continually strives to improve inspection effectiveness and efficiency by recommending and supporting the implementation of process improvements Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external personnel to identify root causes, troubleshoot and address errors and trends, and negotiate the resolution of non-conforming parts and necessary rework or reinspection May perform other inspections using precision measurement instruments such as mics, calipers, and gauges Completes other duties as required Regular attendance on-site at the workplace is required To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
