Role:

Ultru Personnel Recruiting is hiring a full-time Quality Inspector to work on-site at an automotive manufacturing plant in Bardstown, KY. Responsibilities Inspect automotive components for defects and conformance to quality specifications Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify parts meet required tolerances Sort, segregate, and document non-conforming or defective parts according to established procedures Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation/logs Communicate quality issues or trends to the on-site lead or supervisor Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized inspection area Work efficiently to keep pace with production line requirements Qualifications No prior quality inspection experience required — entry-level welcome, training provided on site Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on precision work Basic math skills and ability to read measurements accurately Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Prior manufacturing, automotive, or quality control experience is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Manual dexterity for handling small parts and inspection tools Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
