Visual inspection for defects on small automotive parts. Responsible for sorting, testing, inspection, and rework. Assure company standards are maintained, and product integrity is preserved throughout the procedure. Adhere to identified standards of safety and quality. Accurately complete paperwork; use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Works under a supervisor and needs to understand oral and written instructions. Performs visual and dimensional inspections and/or tests materials per written instruction. Operates equipment like go/no-go gauges, standard gauges, micrometers, and other test equipment. May use hand tools like crimpers, drills, and files. Marks the type of defect on rejected parts and documents as instructed in work instructions. Process tags and non-conforming material documents.
