Job Description

American Howa Kentucky, Inc. is a global supplier of automotive interiors and noise vibration parts. American Howa Kentucky, Inc. is seeking a full-time Quality Technician.
Qualifications:
Ability to aid in the development of corrective and preventive actions for internal and external quality concerns. General knowledge of the automotive quality standards (ISO 9001 standard). Knowledge of performing quality inspections on products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. General problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to train team members on quality requirements. Basic computer skills in Work and Excel. Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
Support AHK and customer quality systems initiatives Assist Quality Engineers with customer and supplier quality concerns as needed. Understand the overall quality specifications and standards. Follow process control and inspection procedures. Encourage to make recommendations for system improvements. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
Physical:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment. Specific vision abilities are required include viewing raw materials and parts of color matching and depth perception. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Up to $16.00 per hour
