Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Specialist and play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our processes. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing quality systems, conducting comprehensive quality audits, and ensuring that products meet rigorous quality control and assurance benchmarks. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional products to our customers while fostering continuous improvement within our operations. Responsibilities Quality Program Management implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) for mechanical scope Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ANSI, SMACNA and client standards Implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures Coordinate quality requirements with project management and QA/QC Manager Mechanical Inspection & Testing Oversee inspections of piping, HVAC systems, and equipment installation Ensure execution of hydrostatic/pneumatic testing and system flushing Welding & Piping Quality Control Ensure compliance with WPS/PQR and welding procedures Coordinate and review NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT) Maintain weld maps and traceability records Material Control & Traceability Verify materials meet specifications and approved submittals Documentation & Turnover Packages Maintain QA/QC documentation including ITPs, reports, and test records Compile turnover packages and as-built documentation Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions Identify and track NCRs Assist root cause analysis and corrective actions Assist with proper resolution of deficiencies Field Quality Oversight Conduct field inspections and verify installations Work with field teams to correct issues Promote right-first-time quality standards Commissioning & Startup Support Support system walkdowns and commissioning Verify mechanical completion Ensure readiness for startup Coordination & Communication Attend weekly site walks Attend quality meetings Audits & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with quality procedures Implement improvements and lessons learned Key Skills Knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, HVAC Understanding of
ASME B31
codes Experience with welding, NDT, and testing Ability to read P&IDs; and drawings Strong attention to detail and communication skills
