1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM Position Summary Support the Quality team in executing day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and assisting in special projects as needed. Key Responsibilities and Priorities Promote safety culture through safety toolbox talks, safety committee participation, and positive reinforcement programs Ensure compliance with process/final inspection requirements Familiarity with FAI (First Article Inspection) Perform finished goods audits Ensure compliance with incoming material (receiving) inspection requirements Document, file, and communicate inspection/testing results Utilize test equipment: calipers, tape measure, comparator, tensile test machines, hardness testers, and other lab equipment Read/interpret drawings, routers (work orders), bills of material, and other part documentation and directives Respond to emails regarding product and quality concerns from internal correspondence Ensure proper military part inspection using MIL specifications and sampling documents Ensure accuracy of all data collected and entered NMR/NCR (Non-Conforming Material Report) process MRB (Material Review Board) process 5S, Kanban, and continuous improvement activities 2+ years of experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment Intermediate or higher aptitude with D-365 (ERP software) and MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Desired Skills Strong written and verbal communication Organized with high attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (5-Why, 8D, etc.) Knowledge of pre-production testing, PPAP process Ability to set up test machines with minimal instructions
