Job Description

Summary/Objective The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for quality assurance audits and consults with management to resolve quality, production and efficiency problems. Functions as an information source to management when special or critical quality issues occur. We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector. Must be willing to work any shift 1st (7 am
  • 3 pm), 2nd (3 pm
  • 11 pm), and/or 3rd (11 pm
  • 7 am).
Essential Functions:

Understands control plans that are used to check each part Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Label making including job travelers and job tickets Monitor press operations and record data Use of sharp blades and cutters Daily sign off on work instructions located on every press Competencies Equipment Operation Initiative Teamwork Orientation Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

From $12.00 per hour
