Lumber Quality Control Worker Location:

Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our production team in Mayfield, KY. This position will begin with sorting and identifying defects in precut pieces of lumber that will be used in the manufacturing of doors. The right candidate will have the opportunity to cross-train in other areas of the production process, allowing you to learn new skills and work in different areas of the facility. We are willing to train the right individuals who are reliable, motivated, and ready to learn. Responsibilities Sort and inspect precut lumber pieces for defects and quality issues. Identify and separate lumber that does not meet quality standards. Follow production and quality requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Learn and perform duties in other areas of the production process through cross-training. Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines. Work effectively as part of a production team. Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Qualifications Dependable and willing to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Production or quality-control experience is a plus, but not required. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not necessary—we will train the right candidate. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
