Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our service team. In this vital role, you will ensure all vehicles we service meet rigorous quality standards by inspecting them after our service process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and support continuous improvement initiatives. Tasks Inspecting each service vehicle once the job is complete. Test-drive each vehicle to ensure the repair is done correctly. Alert the service manager, shop foreman, and technician to any job not done correctly. Assist the service department with recalls or small jobs if all QC jobs are complete. Skills Strong knowledge of automotive repairs. Proficiency in using inspection documents. Excellent understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards related to automotive repairs. Ability to communicate with others in the service department. Strong attention to detail with excellent analysis skills to evaluate product quality against established standards. Effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with cross-functional teams on quality improvements.
