Monday through Friday Join Our Team as a Quality Inspector II•First Shift and Make an Impact in Precision Manufacturing Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality and continuous improvement? Client is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector II to uphold and enhance our manufacturing excellence. In this vital role, you'll support site operations by conducting meticulous inspections, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring products meet the highest standards—delighting our customers with reliable, top-tier quality every time. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation in metal fabrication. What You'll Bring to the
Table:
Proficiency with measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plates, and height gauges Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately Skilled visual inspection of products according to customer specifications Experience in inspecting and testing in-process and finished products Strong documentation skills for recording inspection results and non-conformance reports Ability to identify, quarantine, and generate reports on non-conforming products Knowledge of operating and maintaining measurement equipment, including calibration tasks Familiarity with assessing incoming materials and approving products for shipping Capability to support dimensional verification for PPAP and 1st article parts Experience with operating FARO and Micro-Vu measurement systems Ability to assist in process improvement initiatives and train team members Understand and adhere to industry safety standards and quality expectations
Preferred Additional Skills and Knowledge:
Hands-on experience in a metal fabrication environment with a focus on continuous improvement and quality management systems Effective communication skills for training and small group presentations Basic proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet usage Understanding of lean processes, calibration procedures, and ISO standards
Ideal Educational Background & Experience:
High school diploma required Associate degree in a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in inspection within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
Other Key Requirements:
