Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with experience in medical device manufacturing to join our team. This position is responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of plated and un-plated components, conducting testing procedures, and ensuring products meet customer and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have prior medical device inspection experience, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and hands-on experience using precision measuring equipment and vision systems. Responsibilities Perform visual inspections of plated and un-plated materials using the unaided eye and/or microscopic examination Conduct thickness testing using equipment such as: X-ray machines Micrometers Calipers Other precision measuring instruments Perform adhesion testing in accordance with customer specifications and company procedures Accurately document inspection results, charts, and quality records Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection equipment and work areas Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications Identify and report non-conforming materials or defects Qualifications Previous quality inspection experience in medical device manufacturing is required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using handheld inspection tools and measuring equipment, including: Micrometers Calipers Indicators Air gages Precision gages Experience using vision systems and comparators Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Schedule Monday
