Length:
12 Month contract Job Description The Manufacturing Quality Investigations and CAPA Specialist supports the Manufacturing Technical Operations (MTO) team through the execution and closure of quality records supporting cell manufacturing operations. This role is heavily focused on investigations, including deviation triage, subject matter expert coordination, root cause analysis, and management of CAPA and Change Control records within the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS). The position handles standard-complexity deviations and CAPAs with moderate oversight while following MTO and Quality Assurance-aligned compliance practices. Prior industry experience is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute quality records, including Deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls, and Analytical and Quality Control Investigations. Triage deviations and coordinate subject matter experts. Support root cause analysis activities, including GEMBA investigations. Manage CAPA and Change Control records through closure in the eQMS. Handle standard-complexity deviations and CAPAs with moderate oversight. Support quality and compliance activities related to cell manufacturing operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete investigations and quality records. Apply MTO and Quality Assurance-aligned compliance best practices. Maintain a strong focus on investigation execution; Change Control project management is a secondary responsibility. Qualifications Engineering or other relevant degree. 2-5 years of relevant experience. Prior industry experience preferred. Experience supporting deviations, CAPAs, investigations, or related quality processes. Familiarity with root cause analysis and investigation methodologies. Experience working with electronic Quality Management Systems preferred. Ability to work on-site in Boston. Moderate oversight and guidance required for standard-complexity quality records.
