QA Technician Location:
Burlington, MA 01803
Pay:
$21.00/hour -
Paid Weekly Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00

Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire QA Technician Opportunity We are hiring an experienced QA Technician to support quality engineering and manufacturing operations in Burlington, MA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule. The QA Technician will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, document quality results and nonconformances, support calibration activities, collect and analyze quality data, and assist with validation and qualification activities. Candidates with experience in medical device manufacturing, FDA-regulated environments, ISO 13485, precision measurement, Gage R&R, calibration, and quality systems are strongly encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Perform first article incoming inspections of purchased components Inspect production operations and document inspection and audit results Perform final product inspections against specifications and procedural requirements Identify and document nonconformances (NCMR) Monitor and/or perform calibration and maintenance of test equipment and fixtures Perform process control and monitoring of critical-to-quality parameters and specifications Collect, summarize, analyze, and document test results Assist with or perform Gage R&R studies Assist with the selection, installation, and programming of precision measuring equipment Create and maintain control plans for products and processes Assist with equipment, product, process, and test method verifications, qualifications, and validations Support Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and regulatory compliance activities Follow applicable FDA regulations, quality procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing personnel, vendors, contractors, and other team members Qualifications 2-4 years of relevant quality experience Previous experience supporting validations and qualifications, Gage R&R, calibration, test methods, and NCMR dispositioning Knowledge of Quality Systems, FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and applicable regulatory requirements Experience with optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, pressure testing, force gage testing, and fixtures Training or experience in blueprint reading Experience with sampling techniques Good computer skills, including data analysis and report writing Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational, follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Previous medical device industry experience ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification or equivalent Experience working within a larger, cross-functional or geographically diverse organization Why Apply? $21.00/hour Paid weekly Monday-Friday daytime schedule Contract position with potential for permanent hire Opportunity to gain additional experience in quality engineering and regulated manufacturing Apply today if you have hands-on quality inspection experience and are interested in a long-term opportunity supporting quality and manufacturing operations in Burlington, MA.
