09/07/2026 Job Description Job Description Have an eye for details others miss? If you have experience inspecting manufactured parts, reading specifications, and working with precision measuring tools, we want to hear from you. Asahi/America is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Lawrence manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position where you'll spend a significant part of your day inspecting products and making sure what leaves our facility meets our quality standards and our customers' expectations. What's The Job? You'll be on the manufacturing floor performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of thermoplastic valves, piping components, and other manufactured products. Using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, you'll verify dimensions and specifications, document your findings, and identify products that don't meet requirements. But this isn't just about finding problems. You'll work directly with Quality, Production, and Engineering to understand what happened, help determine the cause, and prevent the issue from happening again. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on inspection work but also wants to develop broader experience in manufacturing quality. What You Will Own. You'll take responsibility for accurate and consistent product inspections, from verifying dimensions and specifications to documenting results and identifying non-conforming material. You'll maintain inspection and testing equipment, support root-cause investigations and corrective actions, and work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues. As you grow in the position, you'll have opportunities to become more involved with our
ISO 9001
Quality Management System and continuous improvement efforts. What Separates You From The Rest. You're someone who notices the details and takes pride in getting things right. You have at least two years of quality inspection or quality technician experience in a manufacturing environment and are comfortable using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. You can follow specifications, accurately document your work, and speak up when something doesn't look right. Experience with plastics or thermoplastic products is a plus, as is familiarity with ISO 9001, but neither should stop a strong manufacturing quality candidate from applying. We're looking for someone who is curious, dependable, organized, and willing to work with others to solve problems-not simply identify them. Why You'll Love Working Here. Join an established manufacturing company where quality matters and your work has a visible impact. Asahi/America offers medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance from day one, a 401(k) with a generous company match and immediate vesting, continuing education reimbursement, and opportunities to expand your quality experience. Quality products. Trusted partnerships. Proven success - that's Asahi/America. Compensation Transparency.
Salary Range:
$24.00 - $ 33.00 per hour Plus Bonus. The pay range shown represents what we expect to offer in good faith for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will depend on several factors-such as education, experience, certifications, skills, performance, shift, location, and business needs. We review our ranges regularly to ensure fairness and market competitiveness. Equal Employment Opportunity. Asahi/America, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
