Job Description
Precision Sheet- QC Inspector Metheun, MA Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality in precision sheet metal products? Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Precision Sheet- QC Inspector to join their team. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing that all products meet stringent customer requirements as defined by drawings, inspection lists, and visual specifications. Responsibilities of the Precision Sheet- QC Inspector Interpret customer specifications to ensure compliance. Assess and manage Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for disposition. Disposition non-conforming material into the DMR database. Create RMA work orders for repair or remake processes. Maintain and update the RMA database accurately. Visually and dimensionally inspect sheet metal parts for approval. Assist in resolving manufacturing quality concerns. Maintain quality reporting for the Business Review Team. Use SolidWorks to provide necessary information to departments. Perform dimensional inspections on machined components. Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records. Participate in the corrective/preventive action program. Requirements of the Precision Sheet- QC Inspector 5+ years of experience inspecting sheet metal and/or machined parts. High-level ability to read and understand specifications on prints. Advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Experience with Excel for data management and reporting. Compensation/Benefits for the Precision Sheet- QC Inspector $22 - $28 per hour #MFT2
