Responsibilities:

Performing field inspections on structural steel fabrication, welded and bolted connections, reinforcing steel installations Verify compliance with documents, approved shop drawings, welding procedures, applicable codes and standards Reviewing welding procedure specifications, procedure records, and other records as required Inspect reinforcing steel placement, spacing, lap slices, supports etc prior to concrete placement Reading and interpreting structural drawings, shop drawings, welding symbols Maintain accurate records and prepare inspection reports Following company procedures and OSHA requirements

Qualifications:

Valid AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification a plus Experience with structural steel/welding inspection experience Experience with welding processes, structural steel fabrication and welding inspection practices Familiar with

AWS D1.1

Structural Welding Code Able to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, welding symbols Experience reviewing

WPS, PCR

quality documentation Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel OSHA 10 certification Ability to pass drug and background screening Valid drivers license and good driving record Hours are: Monday through Friday - flexible from 6:30am - 5pm The salary is $40 an hour based on experience
