Job Description

Job Title:
Quality Assurance Associate Job Description This role involves conducting in-process quality inspections, receiving inspections, and final product inspections. You will be responsible for identifying and verifying current documents, drawings, and procedures for specific processes, as well as recording, distributing, and filing data gathered from inspections and testing. This position requires the ability to use computer systems for daily functions and documentation, handle delicate materials, and effectively communicate with supervisors and operators when defects are identified. Responsibilities Conduct in-process, receiving, and final product inspections. Verify documents, drawings, and procedures for specific processes. Record, distribute, and file data from inspections and testing. Use computer systems for daily functions and documentation. Handle delicate materials carefully. Communicate with supervisors and operators if defects are identified. Follow company policies and procedures under direct supervision. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Detail-oriented to detect defects and non-conforming products. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attendance and reliability record. Willingness to participate in teamwork. Working knowledge of inspection processes. Ability to use a microscope for extended periods. Basic math skills and ability to learn computer systems. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and stand for long periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1-2 years of QA experience within a manufacturing facility. Ability to read blueprints. Experience with micrometers and calipers. Ability to pass ITAR clearance. Work Environment The work environment can be a bit warm in the plating area, but water, Gatorade, and frequent breaks are encouraged. Employees wear long pants and sleeves, and the climate is manageable and similar to a normal warm climate. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southbridge, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
