1st Shift About the Position We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join an aerospace manufacturing operation in Southwick, MA. This position is responsible for inspecting precision-manufactured parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have several years of manufacturing inspection experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and experience using precision measuring equipment. Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is preferred. Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections on a variety of manufactured parts. Inspect incoming raw materials and components from outside processes. Read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, operation sheets, and work instructions. Use precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, gage blocks, thread gages, and go/no-go gages . Enter inspection results and documentation into an ERP system. Identify and document quality issues and prepare Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) . Verify parts meet required dimensional and quality specifications. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Follow established inspection procedures and work instructions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work independently while communicating effectively with production and quality personnel. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school preferred. DQR experience is a strong plus 5+ years of manufacturing inspection experience. Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred. Strong blueprint-reading skills. Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) . Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment. Experience writing NCRs or other quality documentation. Basic computer skills and experience working with ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify dimensional or quality issues. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow setup instructions and operate basic machine controls.

Appropriate PPE is required. The position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and sitting for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required.
