The Manufacturing Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of all products and processes in our elastomer fabrication factory. This includes managing non-conforming materials, handling customer complaints and conducting inspections. Responsibilities of theQuality Technician:
Customer Complaint Handling:
Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues. Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.Non-Conforming Material Handling:
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials. Work with the production team to prevent recurrence and coordinate with suppliers for return or replacement as necessary.Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of the manufacturing process, from incoming raw material to finished product. Use inspection tools and follow quality standards to ensure compliance.Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in elastomer fabrication. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with various departments. Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
