Asbestos Inspector - Maryland, Washington, D.C. & Virginia We are seeking a qualified Asbestos Inspector to join our team in a remote, field-based position covering Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia . The ideal candidate will have experience performing asbestos inspections and sampling in residential and commercial environments. Candidates coming from the disaster restoration industry with relevant asbestos inspection experience are strongly encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Perform asbestos inspections and sampling at residential and commercial properties Conduct field assessments and collect samples in accordance with applicable requirements Document findings and prepare accurate inspection reports Coordinate with clients, property owners, contractors, and other project stakeholders Travel throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia as needed Maintain accurate records and ensure inspections are completed professionally and efficiently Ideal Background Current Asbestos Inspector certification required Experience performing asbestos inspections and sampling Restoration, environmental, industrial hygiene, or related industry experience preferred Strong understanding of applicable asbestos regulations and inspection procedures Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred Candidates certified in both Asbestos and Lead are ideally preferred Compensation & Benefits $30-$40 per hour , based on experience and qualifications Incentive plan to be determined Remote, field-based position Use of personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement Opportunity to work across Maryland, D.C., and Virginia If you're a certified Asbestos Inspector looking for a flexible field-based opportunity with a growing team, we'd like to hear from you.
