2pm-1am Mon-Thur (4-10s) Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring the adnce to quality standards and procedures throughout our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection, with a strong understanding of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards. Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is highly desirable.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauging fixtures, to conduct accurate and precise measurements.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner to inspect complex parts and assemblies.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects, abnormalities, or non-conformities in products or materials.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of inspections, including detailed reports and data analysis.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations to determine the cause of quality issues and assist in implementing effective preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards and actively contribute to maintaining and improving the quality management system.
- Communicate effectively with production personnel, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality concerns and provide guidance on quality requirements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, new inspection techniques, and emerging quality standards.

Ability to obtainSecret Clearance Education and Years of Experience:
High School/GED and Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.- Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards.
- Familiarity with inspection techniques, tools, and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauging fixtures, etc.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple inspection tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, analysis and report generation.
