The focus in Maine is on multidirectional reinforced Carbon/Carbon (C/C) and Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs) that enable high-temperature components such as: thermal protection systems, re-entry vehicle nose tips as well as rocket motor throats and nozzles. Your role:

FMI is seeking a Quality Technician who will work at both of our Biddeford locations to perform calibration, and also coordinate outside calibration of FMI's tools and equipment. As the Quality Technician , you will need to be a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and accuracy. The Quality Technician role involves collaboration with various functions within FMI, including but not limited to Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately and reliably perform calibration of measuring tools/gauges and equipment, with ability to troubleshoot when necessary Ensure FMI is in compliance with

ISO 17025/ISO

10012, industry and any customer-specific calibration requirements Plan, coordinate and schedule calibration activities across the organization, including calibration by outside vendors Maintain calibration records in compliance with industry and customer-specific requirements, including FMI policies Develop, review and implement calibration protocols and procedures Use of calibration software for records of calibration activities, and to generate reports Monitor calibration equipment performance for repairs, replacement and/or continuous improvement Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to define equipment/gauge calibration requirements Manage inventory of tools and replacement parts as needed Other duties and tasks as assigned What we need from you: High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of calibration experience on varied types of tools/equipment/gauges Ability to read and interpret blueprints (drawings) Ability to analyze and interpret test/calibration data Detail oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to perform incoming inspection of tools for accuracy and completeness of documentation Attention to details, including strictly following existing company calibration procedures and related manuals

Communication:
