CMM Field Service Technician Location:

Michigan, field-based

Salary:

$65,000-$80,000

DOE Bonus:

Up to $550 per month

Travel:

Up to 80%, including occasional overnight stays A leading precision metrology provider is seeking a CMM Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair coordinate measuring machines at customer sites. Responsibilities Service, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair CMMs and related equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, encoder, and control-feedback faults Prepare equipment for relocation and complete alignment work Ensure all work meets customer requirements and ISO standards Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams Requirements CMM service, maintenance, calibration, or repair experience Working knowledge of software such as PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, CMM Manager, or MCOSMOS Knowledge of machine controls, servo drives, encoders, and feedback systems Experience using laser interferometers, alignment lasers, oscilloscopes, and DVMs Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance Willingness to travel up to 80% Benefits Monthly productivity and quality bonus of up to $550 Paid travel time and overtime Medical, dental, disability, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and company holidays Continuing education and development opportunities WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
