Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Parts Quality Inspector to join our team on-site. The Parts Quality Inspector examines materials and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements. Materials and finished goods include but is not limited to machined parts, automotive and industrial sensors and cable assemblies. Key responsibilities include performing visual and dimensional inspections, operating precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, documenting findings, marking parts for acceptance or rejection, and collaborating with Production and engineering to manage inventory as defined. We are an established, owner-run small business supplying temperature, position, and other sensor products to industrial, aerospace, automotive, motorsports, and other technical markets.
Key Responsibilities Inspection and Testing :
Conduct thorough visual, dimensional and functional inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products against outlines / assemblies
Quality Assurance :
Verify that parts conform to blueprints, specifications, and established quality standards.
Use of Instruments :
Utilize precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges
Documentation :
Accurately measure and record inspection results
Defect Identification :
Identify and document defects, non-conformities, wear, and processing errors, marking items for acceptance or rejection working with / informing
Production and Engineering Assembly, Re-labeling & Product Modification:
When inspection workload allows, perform tasks as directed by leader.

Hand Tools Education and Experience:
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- High School Degree (or equivalent)
- Previous experience inspecting parts and using inspection and measuring instruments preferred

Pay:
$48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
