2nd and 3rd Shift
QUALITY INSPECTOR
Lawrence Plastics, an injection molding supplier for the automotive industry is looking for experienced quality inspectors to join our growing company! The ideal candidate will have one year of related quality experience and demonstrated ability to read and comprehend quality standards. If you are looking for a company to learn and grow, this is the position for you! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Overall responsibility is to check the quality of incoming and outgoing material and products, as well as production procedures. Ensure products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment. Inspect and products and procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Read blueprints and work instructions to understand quality expectations for each product and supply. Use automated systems to perform testing procedures; maintain records of testing. Ensure employees are trained to perform assigned duties safely and accurately. Comply with
IATF 16949
standards. Various other duties as required by the department. EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High school graduate AND appropriate training in a Quality-related field. One-year prior related quality experience is a plus. Should have familiarity with quality control standards. Experience working in a
IATF 16949
environment is a definite plus. U.S. work authorization.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend quality standards. Detail-oriented with a results-driven approach. Reliable and committed. Experience in the use of Microsoft software, including Word and Excel is a plus.
