Qualifications - Quality Assurance Inspector We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector with hands-on welding production inspection experience. In this role, you will own inspection documentation for every job, ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards, and work directly on the production floor to maintain quality from first article through final inspection.
Required:
2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production specifications Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, angle finders, mil thickness gauges) Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor workflows Familiarity with
ISO 9001
quality management systems and documentation practices Experience using Microsoft Excel for reporting and documentation Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Experience in welding environments or metal fabrication production Knowledge of fixturing and production tooling Experience performing First Article, in-process, and final inspections Familiarity with manufacturing software systems (JobBoss, Unipoint, or similar) Responsibilities - Quality Assurance Inspector Perform First Article inspections and approve initial production setups Conduct in-process, sub-assembly, and final inspections on manufactured products Inspect incoming materials for compliance with specifications Verify weld quality, fixturing accuracy, and dimensional compliance Create and maintain inspection sheets, quality documentation, and reports Monitor production processes and notify leadership of quality issues or deviations Ensure compliance with
