Job Description

Why Join Us? We are an equal opportunity employer and committed to a culturally diverse team. This fast-paced, quality and customer-centric position promotes daily excellence within a growing organization supporting automotive suppliers -- so you should be prepared to further develop your quality assurance, vehicle and interpersonal skills within the automotive industry, if selected. As a Quality Liaison advocating the program interests of automotive parts manufacturers, you will be the primary go-to person for companies supplying parts to an automotive supplier plant. While serving as a liaison between the automotive parts suppliers and the manufacturing team, you will provide resident program quality support while working independently to represent the interest of the automotive supplier. If you have been searching for an opportunity to develop within the automotive industry and problem-solving and continuous improvement challenges are key motivators for you, you will thrive while promoting issue resolution and corrective action plans on a regular basis by communicating with the local manufacturing team members, vehicle assembly process specialists and various contacts from the supplier team. You will support the resident quality assurance and off-site manufacturing teams with issue definition, identification, measurement, analysis, improvement, and control of root cause condition(s) in pursuit of a zero defects and customer production interruptions goal. Our resident personnel routinely complete part installation, line accumulations, inventory, receiving inspection and incoming quality reviews -- while reporting and repairing suspect, non-conforming and damaged material to reduce local scrap levels. You will have a direct impact on our continued success by utilizing your problem-solving skills and supporting local field containment, quality gate activities and issue-resolution breakpoints to reduce risk and introduction of non-conforming parts into the manufacturing process. Here are a few specific characteristics we are looking for… (i.e., the Qualifications & Requirements): Physically able to lift containers and components that weigh up to forty pounds, and stand, walk reach and bend up to 100% of the time.
