Full Job Description Description:
Perform in-process inspections from manufacturing line by way of visual inspection, physical measurement, and functional testing using appropriate instruments to ensure specifications are met. Daily collection of part samples which may require moving pans of parts and light lifting. Ability to inspect parts by identifying and using the correct gages such as Micrometers, Calipers, Depth Micrometers, Comparator, Indicators, Pin Gages, Thread Gages, Bubble Testers, and other special gages as necessary. Perform process audits according to Dapco standards. Ability to read and understand blueprints, Quality Control Instructions, and geometric dimensioning and tolerance. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within manufacturing. Must be conscious of quality with the ability to recognize deviations from established standards. Must be detailed oriented. Maintain and follow proper compliance and quality system requirements. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ability to report findings effectively using verbal, written, and computer skills. Must write legibly on disposition tags for process control and have a thorough understanding of Dapco Industries tagging system. Participate in sort and rework duties as required. Other duties as assigned.
