Job Description

Overview We are currently seeking a Quality Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This position is responsible for weighing, measuring, and checking materials, supplies, and equipment for the purpose of keeping relevant records. This position is also responsible for collecting and keeping record of samples of products or materials. Job Duties/Responsibilities Performs assigned, routine visual inspections and other specified tests on raw materials, goods in process, and finished products Performs auditing on incoming/receiving material, process/production and outgoing parts Tests, inspects, and approves raw materials based on established quality specifications Uses observation and testing to identify faults in materials and manufacturing process Compares results of inspections and tests to company's quality standards; reports results to Plant Manager for final analysis and action steps Develops, maintains, and posts logs, charts, and forms detailing quality levels, inspection data, and results of special quality studies for review by line mechanics, supervisors, and other production staff Consults with Plant Manager to determine appropriate recommendations and remedies for questionable products Maintains quality records as needed Always organizes work center for orderliness Willingness to share new ideas to make processes better Willingness to work in a team environment Regular attendance is required Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications/Required Skills 1-3 years of experience in quality or auditing roles Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to the department Ability to read and use calipers Ability to read a tape measure accurately Basic computer literacy Experience with Plex systems is preferred Basic computer and math skills Physical ability to do work requiring frequent lifting, twisting, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, walking and standing for 8+ hours per day. Physical ability to do work that requires lifting/pulling/carrying weights ranging from 1 to 50 lbs. Additional Information Candidates selected for this role will have the opportunity to develop additional technical skills, which will be discussed further during the interview process

From $18.00 per hour
