We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to support fabrication and production operations. This role is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, strong inspection skills, and a working knowledge of QA/QC processes, including documentation, traceability, and corrective actions. Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and verification of materials, components, and finished products to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
• Review fabrication processes and identify opportunities for quality improvement and process efficiency
• Monitor and verify work in accordance with established Quality Control programs and inspection plans
• Identify, document, and track non-conformances; support corrective action and resolution efforts
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and material traceability
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including ISO 9001, company QA/QC procedures, and client specifications
• Collaborate with project teams, supervisors, and fabrication personnel to resolve quality issues
• Support audits and quality reviews as needed
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety policies Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in quality control, fabrication, or industrial construction (oil & gas experience preferred)
• Proficiency in inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Working knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and documentation requirements
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or comparable quality systems preferred
• Experience with non-conformance reporting and corrective actions is a plus
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Application Question(s): How many years of quality control inspection experience do you have in industrial fabrication, piping, oil & gas, or related construction environments? Do you have experience inspecting fabricated piping, skids, pressure vessels, or process equipment? Do you have experience reading fabrication drawings and specifications and performing dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, or gauges? Do you have experience with welding quality documentation, material traceability, hydrotesting, and/or NDT inspection processes? Do you have experience working with inspection records, ITPs, hold points, NCRs, and corrective-action documentation? Are you able to work on-site in Falmouth, Michigan, six days per week for approximately 6-8 weeks?
