Ideal for candidates with inspection experience looking to grow within AS9100/Nadcap environments . Job Summary Supreme Gear Company is seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to support inspection and laboratory operations within our precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision or gear inspection and a strong background in quality systems and compliance , with additional involvement in gage calibration and metallurgical evaluation (nital etch processing) . Key Responsibilities Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections Inspect raw material, WIP, and finished goods for compliance Utilize precision tools ( micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators ) Perform and support gage calibration, tracking, and traceability systems Conduct and interpret nital etch metallurgical evaluations Document inspection results and maintain QA records Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Ensure compliance with AS9100, Nadcap, and customer requirements Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to improve quality systems Maintain a safe and organized work environment Qualifications Minimum 1+ years of inspection experience (aerospace or precision manufacturing preferred) Strong understanding of quality assurance and inspection techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints (GD&T preferred) Experience using precision measurement tools Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with gear inspection Familiarity with AS9100 and Nadcap requirements Experience with gage calibration systems Exposure to metallography or etching processes Compensation Wages based on knowledge and experience Compliance Notice This position requires compliance with U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); therefore, applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
