Scope :
Site- Huron Responsibilities:
Management of the metrology process. Ensure measurements, able to get reports and understand measurements interpretations using QDA Ensure Dimensional Measurements according to control plan frequency Together with the QE's, deliver dimensional recommendations to improve tank dimensions in blow molding and welding processes Supervise technical lab employees dedicated to Quality Testing Calculate Gainshare Month over Month according to the rules defined and aligned to UAW standards Vacations, call offs and overtime Management of Quality Techs Compliance with the testing plan aligned with the control plan Participate in New Launches quality planning together with QEs Together with QEs, manage reinforced control plan testing Maintain test and measurement equipment and work areas in optimal conditions Execute the calibration plan at 100%. Use of Gagetrack application Schedule maintenance of testing equipment. Understanding of Customer specific requirements Execute MSA studies as needed Operate/Experience in CMM, Portable Arm, Handheld gages, Optical Comparator and other tools necessary to verify product Purchase requisition and Purchase order
Management Ideal Candidate Profile:
Engineering degree (Industrial, mechanical, chemical or related engineering) 3 to 5 years in equivalent position with Automotive Quality background. Strong understanding of
IATF 16949
requirements Excellent communication skills Advanced PC skills Experience in people management Microsoft Office proficiency (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, One note…) Experience in Plastic Industry Must comply with all safety rules and regulations Must have excellent organization skills Advanced Programming skills, preferred Understanding of Core Tools (MSA Requirements) QA Knowledge preferred SAP knowledge for EPOR and PO Management At OPmobility, people truly matter.
