Position Description and Purpose:
Founded in 1923 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roskam Foods is a leading contract manufacturer that partners with world-renowned food brands, retailers, and food service providers to produce a myriad of frozen, refrigerated and shelf-stable products. Key Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Ensure alignment of documentation with quality policy and SQF elementsDevelop a strong connection with departments involved in the initial product setupDevelop a strong knowledge of plant floor activitiesSupport the maintenance of SQF certificationSupport the maintenance of Kosher, RSPO, and Organic certificationDocument controlEquipment calibration/verificationMust be detail-orientedGood verbal and written skills,
Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
2+ years of industry experience in documentationWorking knowledge of quality systems to ensure food safety and qualityStrong interpersonal skills to include team building and oral communicationStrong documentation skillsExperience in working in quality systems documentation within the food manufacturing industry Roskam Foods offers a competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, tuition reimbursement, life and disability insurance, and a 401 (k) plan with company match.
