Job Description

Nesco Resource is seeking a Skilled Quality Assurance Technician for our long-term Automotive Service Parts Manufacturing Client in Livonia. This is a
CONTRACT
role, with potential for extension or permanent placement.
Shift:
6 :00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, Overtime Saturdays when needed.
Pay:
24/hr
Contract Terms:
6 Month Minimum Primary Responsibilities Conducting initial piece and in-process inspections on transmission parts and automotive fluid lines/tubing Performing the basic mechanical testing various product types and components that consist of programming and running test lab equipment in conjunction with following written procedures, methods, and/or instructions Supporting warranty leads returned parts for processing and testing Assisting Quality Lead with warranty part root cause analysis Prepare samples for testing, conducts test Documenting and email end-of-shift reports and include any issues found as required Reviewing GD&T measures and blueprint interpretation Using precision measurement tools Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic machines Ability to track and interpret compressed gages and maintain calibration records Performing layer checks, line inspections, STP, and final audits Logging data into excel spreadsheet and company database Maintaining records of work performed, provides summaries and reports results of findings Assist with the migration from a SharePoint-based return log to the entrepo t PRS Lab work to review specifications to generate dimensional and inspection documentation results and determine if parts meet compliance requirements Follow general safety rules and Company policies and procedures. Perform Special Assignments as delegated Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Previous Quality Inspection experience, required Strong mechanical aptitude, as well as technical and analytical problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to evaluate and communicate complex/technical information in a clear matter Knowledge of compliance protocols Ability to read/interpret blueprints Basic math and computer skills, required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs COM087 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
