Quality Lab Technician

The Quality Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting. This role involves basic testing, data recording, and assisting higher-level technicians with more complex tasks. This position is ideal for individuals new to the field who have a foundational understanding of laboratory practices! Key Responsibilities Perform routine quantitative and qualitative chemical tests according to standard procedures. Test incoming raw materials and finished products, including LOI, density, and sizing. Conduct random production line audits and assist in quality assurance tasks. Enter test results into databases and maintain accurate records. Assist with maintaining laboratory cleanliness and equipment calibration. Store and route product and raw material samples. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of chemistry. Familiarity with MS Excel and MS Word. Previous relevant experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Capable of working in loud, cold, and hot environments.
