SNELLING STAFFING HAS A FULL-TIME TEMP TO HIRE QUALITY TECHNICIAN POSITION WITH OUR CLIENT LOCATED IN CLINTON TWP. MI

3rd shift 11:30pm to 7:15am Job Description The Quality Technician inspects materials and products for conformance to specifications.

• Issue first piece inspection using standard measurement tools including CMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, and profilometers.
• Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process material and or parts for non-conformities.
• Report inspection findings to the appropriate departments in a professional manner when applicable.
• Participate in Root Cause/5Y and troubleshooting meetings as needed. Competencies

• 3+ years' experience in quality position
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, including GD&T
• Basic understanding of SPC a plus
• M-Cosmos CMM Programming experience a plus
• Experience using

PLEX ERP

system a plus

• Must be able to apply 5s practices throughout the organization
• Strong computer skills including Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
