Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our industrial food manufacturing team. You will ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through thorough inspection, measurement, and analysis. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our production processes, uphold SQF standards, and support continuous production initiatives. Duties Evaluation of all manufactured product against the standard sample with the QC team. Includes but not limited to brix, pH, titratable acidity, flavor profile, viscosity and bostwick testing. Approval for packaging after completed testing parameters. Review of all batch cards before and after production for accurate completion and filing each day. Printing and review of all labels for production and assurance that labels are affied to the appropriate packaging. Inspection of all plant CCP's for every product manufactured: thermal, screens, magnets, filters, etc. Review and approval of Certificate of Analysis (COA) for product produced and ALL materials received into the Jogue facility. Work in coordination with the warehouse and production teams for organization of raw materials, allergens, organic ingredients, Kosher product, packaging materials, inbound materials and receiving logs. Respond to all internal and external customer QC document requests within 24 hours. Review all Kosher certificates and maintenance of Jogue Kosher list for the facility. Production floor presence for safety and personal protective equipment (PPE), batch stagging, material and measurement validations, cleaning practices, equipment swabs, production checklist sign offs, and dismissal. Maintenance of flavor inventory, proper labels and rechecked for strength and taste profile for potential shelf-life extensions. Recording all relevant SQF documentation such as Refrigeration temps, Freezer temps, Scale Calibration, Thermometer Calibration, and Shipping & Receiving logs. Assuring all foot stations, hand wash stations, sanitizing stations are kept neat and in a orderly condition. Daily email communication with both internal and external customers. Creating specification sheets and SDS sheets for all customer requests. Ensuring all SQF, GMP, and HACCP protocols are followed appropriately. Other duties as assigned within the QC department. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to regulated industries such as food or pharmaceuticals. Strong knowledge of GMP practices, SQF guidelines, FDA regulations, and regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to production. Hands-on experience with calibration and use of precision measurement instruments including coordinate measuring machines (CMM), calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision inspection systems. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail; capable of performing complex measurements and data analysis confidently. Strong written and verbal communication, as well as basic math skills to perform calculations related to measurement conversions effectively. Team player mentality, working together to get all department tasks completed. Hours are 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, with some Saturday's (typically 4 hour shift no more than 2x per month).
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
