Job Description

The Spiratex Company has an exciting opportunity for a mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst at our manufacturing facility located in Romulus, MI. The QA Analyst is a high impact, hands-on position with both tactical and strategic responsibilities. The successful candidate must have 5 - 10 years of quality experience in a manufacturing facility, knowledgeable of quality tools (i.e., process flow diagrams, FMEA, control plans, root cause analysis, etc.), SPC process control, contract review, and have demonstrated communication skills and comfortable level to serve as the lead customer contact for quality. Key Responsibilities Measure and inspect work-in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications Investigate, document, and contain nonconforming products. Process NCRs generated by production and distributed documentation as required. Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and disposition reviews for nonconforming materials. Review daily production reports and communicate relevant quality-related information to appropriate personnel. Develop and issue quality instructions and guidance to production personnel regarding measurement and inspection techniques Develop and conduct quality training with employees - measurement, inspection, ISO, audit, etc. Skills Experience in the use of measuring equipment - calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc. Advanced math skills Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Blueprint reading Excellent communication skills Experience/Education Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Pay:
$26.00 - $35.00 per hour
