Job Description

Do-It Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Die/Quality Technician to join our team in South Haven, Michigan. This position encompasses responsibilities within our die program, quality control lab and also provides general warehouse support. Qualifications Education - HS diploma/GED required. Good attendance / punctuality High level attention-to-detail in a quality environment Self-directed with the capacity to multitask and take on additional responsibilities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is an essential job function.

Job Responsibilities:

Clean, inspect, & maintain rotary cutting dies according to strict engineering specifications. Prepare & set up dies for upcoming production runs to minimize machine downtime. Troubleshoot & assess die wear/damage and scheduling sharpening &/or repairs when necessary. Safely handle, transport, & store heavy tooling/dies within the warehouse using proper lifting equipment. Perform quality checks on incoming materials & finished warehouse products to ensure compliance with company standards. Maintain meticulous records of die usage, maintenance history, & quality metrics using Microsoft Excel. Track inventory of rotary dies. Audit production logs against digital data to ensure 100% accuracy in our tracking systems. Assist with receiving shipments, verifying packing slips, & organizing inventory. Assist with material handling when necessary.

•Prior experience in Quality Control or Die Preparation/Maintenance is preferred.

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
