CMM Programmer/Operator Maverick Tech Sterling Heights, MI Job Details Full-time $23.75 - $35.20 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Record keeping Blueprint specification interpretation Precision measurement in machining PC-DMIS Coordinate measuring machine Full Job Description We are looking for a skilled CMM Programmer/Operator to join our team and oversee quality inspection tasks within our manufacturing facility. You will be tasked with the creation and execution of CMM programs, conducting precise dimensional checks, and managing the accurate documentation of all measurement results. Core Duties Design and execute CMM programs to facilitate dimensional verification Generate and manage comprehensive inspection records and technical documentation Interpret engineering drawings and utilize GD&T to guarantee measurement precision Evaluate parts, sub-assemblies, and components to confirm they meet established quality benchmarks Provide support for gauge calibration and the validation of fixtures as required Facilitate production buy-offs and initial piece inspections to ensure process flow Help maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient workspace for the entire team Adhere to all established quality protocols and safety regulations Required Qualifications At least 3 years of professional background in CMM inspection and programming Proficiency using PC-DMIS software versions 2020R or later Advanced capability in interpreting blueprints and applying GD&T principles Background in the inspection of machined parts or sheet metal components Capacity to maintain high productivity levels in a fast-moving manufacturing setting Meticulous attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities Prior experience in the aerospace or automotive sectors is considered an asset Essential proficiencies include: GD&T Equipment and systems you will operate: Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
