Job Description
Quality Technician Schedule:
1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday- Thursdays with Fridays offPay:
$20.00/hour Position Summary We are seeking a Quality Technician to support quality inspections, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts within a manufacturing environment for our client in Three Rivers, MI. This position will perform part inspections, support quality systems, assist with problem-solving activities, and work with production teams to ensure products meet customer requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Quality Core Tools, including: o PPAP o APQP o MSA o PFMEA o SPC
- Understanding of PPAP documentation and submission requirements.
- Experience with part layouts, blueprint reading, and dimensional inspections.
- Ability to use handheld measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Experience supporting corrective actions, including: o 8D Problem Solving o 5 Why Root Cause Analysis
- Ability to provide employee training and problem-solving support.
- Proficient with
Microsoft Office:
o Outlook o Excel o Word- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and professional communication. Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with
ISO 9001
2015 Quality Management Systems.- Experience with ISIR and PPAP documentation.
- Experience operating inspection equipment, including: o Virtek Laser Scanner o Numerex CMM o FARO equipment (CAM2/PolyWorks)
- Experience with: o Gage Calibration and Gage Trak software o Gage R&R studies o GD&T o Control Plans o Capability Studies
- Experience updating quality reports and supporting daily production meetings.
- Occasional domestic travel may be required. Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and verify parts meet specifications.
- Maintain quality documentation and reports.
- Support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist production teams with quality concerns and training.
- Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers.
- Perform assigned duties while maintaining quality and safety standards.
