About UMF UMF is a metal finishing company specializing in anodizing, chem film, and powder coating. We serve OEM agricultural equipment manufacturers, industrial customers, and defense/aerospace accounts, running high-mix, short-run work with fast turnarounds. We're growing and highly digitized. The Role The Quality Coordinator owns day-to-day quality across the anodize and powder coat lines: print review, in-process checks, final inspection, certifications, and corrective action. You'll touch dozens of different parts, specs, and customers every week. What You'll Do Review customer prints and purchase orders, interpret spec requirements (class/type callouts, masking, thickness, color) and build them into job travelers in MRP Perform first-article and final inspections: coating thickness, color match and gloss against OEM standards, cross-hatch adhesion, and visual/cosmetic criteria Maintain process control records: anodize tank titrations and temperatures, pretreatment washer chemistry (pH, concentration, dosing logs), and powder cure oven verification Generate certificates of conformance to specifications such as
