Job Description
The shifts are:
- Second Shift- Monday-Thursday, 5pm-3:30am Lowell is the premier partner for the development and production of technologically advanced, implantable medical devices for the cardiovascular, spine, trauma and extremities markets.
QualityTechnician Responsibilities:
- Perform all Technician functions including set-up, first article, in-process, visual and final inspections.
- Capture and record inspection results using a variety of inspection tools and supporting software applications
- Interpret inspection results and provide to manufacturing personnel to assist in managing their processes
- Complete customer specified documentation including set-up inspection reports, first article inspection reports, final inspection reports, and certifications
- Other duties as assigned
Insepction Technician Required Skills and Experience:
- Ability to use a variety of inspection devices including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, plug gages, thread gages, profilometer, toolmakers microscope and willingness to learn others as required
- Ability to use a microscope for performing visual part inspection for extended periods of time
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings/ blueprints
- Ability to use personal computer for accessing instruction, inspection reports and creating records
- Possess the skills necessary to communicate via English through writing and orally
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Must be able to work and be motivated to find solutions without direct supervision
Additional Skills and Experience Preferred:
- Two-five years of inspection inspection experience preferred
- QC-Calc
- Inspection Xpert
- Ability to operate and/or program Vision Inspection System (MeasureMind / Zone3 / Calypso)
ISO 13485
regulated environment- Good working knowledge of Blue Print reading and
