HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
(Overview & Key Responsibilities): As a Product & Materials Lab Technician you will be responsible for the timely and accurate execution of test procedures. Essential job functions related to the position are listed below. Prepare test samples for testing; label, cut, and/or glue samples as necessary. Dispose or repack test samples after testing activity has completed. Perform testing and inspection activities per the appropriate test documentation (e.g. WI, TM, SOP, protocol, etc.). Document detailed test results on lab worksheets. Communicate test status, provide feedback on issues, and recommend improvements to appropriate personnel. Identify, recommend and assist with process / equipment improvements for set-ups and test methods. Keep training readership up to date. Provide training to other personnel for test procedures and methods as required. Ensure that the lab remains clean, organized and report any safety concerns to appropriate personnel. Execution of multiple projects/tests at any one time, ensuring all commitments are met. Other duties as assigned.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
(Minimum Qualifications): Associates Degree or 1-2 years of equivalent work experience 1- 2 years of laboratory experience desired Microsoft Office, computer literate and fluent in English Occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs.
