Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in quality management, engineering, or related field preferred. Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong understanding of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools such as statistical process control (SPC). Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Proficient in using inspection and testing equipment and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in quality control or quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector). Knowledge of advanced quality management software and data analysis tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Orange Card Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify quality standards. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, and communicate findings to relevant departments. Identify and report product defects or deviations, recommending corrective actions to production and engineering teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and improvement plans. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards throughout the production process. Participate in internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality management systems. Maintain calibration and maintenance records for testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
