We have various different pieces of equipment that range from Punch Presses, Welding Equipment, CNC Machinery, and Laser Equipment. We are currently looking for a Quality Technician at our Bloomington, Minnesota facility, Monday

• Friday 6:30AM
• 3PM.

This individual is responsible for performing routine checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections of material, goods in process, and finished assemblies.

Pay Range:

$35

• $40/hour based on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs dimensional, visual and functional examinations to determine material or product conformance specific to customer requirements (drawings and specifications) throughout the manufacturing process. Perform receiving materials inspection, setup part inspection, in-process inspection, outside vendor processes inspection, and final inspection. Communicate inspection deviations with supervisor and/or coworkers. Prepare and distribute rejection notices. Evaluate parts and processes and report non-conformances. Interpret blueprints, control plans, and engineering specifications. Maintain documentation and record inspection results, using Microsoft Excel or other computer programs.

Tasks Commonly Performed:

Inspecting material certifications and verifying labor processes are followed according to established plan. Evaluate information against customer provided specifications. Analyze data or information, inspection requirements, and capability studies. Sort nonconforming products or materials. Communicate with internal and external customers regarding nonconforming specifications. Escalate quality non-conformances to proper personnel. Education and/or

Experience:

Experience with first articles Experience using CMM, tesahite 1

• 3 years of experience in metal stamping, fabrication, or machining inspection.

Experience with common statistical terms. ASQ Quality Technician Certification preferred. Experience in blueprint reading, identification of symbols and their meanings. Knowledge of geometric tolerancing.

Other Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of visual defects. Experience using precision measuring instruments, including optical comparator, micrometer, caliper, and indicators. Strong recording data and documentation skills. Computer proficiency, including database, spreadsheets, and other computer programs. Excellent writing, math, and analytical skills. Interpretation of drawings Successful applicants will be required to pass a background check.
