About this Role - QA/QC Inspector We are looking for a talented QA/QC Inspector who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining and executing quality procedures to ensure requirements are met per MJE and customer standards and specifications to achieve superior quality and reliability. What You'll Do Performs inspection analysis to ensure that the company's and customers' quality requirements are met on assigned projects. Reviews quality and interaction with inspectors and production personnel. Participates in the generation and implementation of defect reduction policies and procedures. Assists in identifying the root cause of a problem and instituting corrective actions. Assists in the development and implementation of quality assurance/control policies and procedures. Meets with customer. quality representatives and project management personnel to discuss and resolve quality issues. Prepares correspondence, presentations and reports for key customers. Extensive travel to projects is required. What You'll Bring Extensive knowledge of utility/engineering construction terms and methods, including inspection procedures Proven communication, effective human relations and persuasive interpersonal skills Proven organizational and documentation skills Excellent computer skills and software proficiency Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in quality control, project management, engineering or related work. Experience in a utility construction environment a plus.
